Objective

The main objective of the ZANGOC is to coordinate the activities of the member NGOs in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Activities

1. Coordinate member organizations activities, which relate to the fighting against HIV/AIDS. Capacity building to member organizations (leadership, administration, counselling, peer education, financial management, writing proposals, M&E, Income generating)
2. Provide advisory and lobbying services for the community on the source, spread and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
3. Youth Friendly facilities (5, Unguja and Pemba)) Counselling and VCT services.
4. Awareness activities during Mass events like ZIFF, Mwaka Kogwa, WAD
5. Peer education (drama, video shows, debates, poems etc)
6. Distribution of IEC materials
7. Fundraising for implementing member organizations’ activities
